Often referred to as the house of seven gables. Opening the living space by added screened in porch off the new family room, expanding the kitchen creating as eat in area. A modern heavy timber staircase incorporated into an open air stair tower, became a beautiful focal point in the interior space as well as an accent to rear of the home. This leads you to the grand master suite. Cedar shakes create a warmth to the exterior façade.

Years of neglect of this amazing structure left this home in need of some TLC . The octogan dining with beautiful fireplace, rebuilding the entire front facade and the incorporation of stained glass in the gable, refinishing the staircase and hardwoods were just a few historic elements salvaged. We still hear the sound of fire trucks, a grass fire lead to this historic homes devastation. This 3 month demo, code upgrade, rebuild, and salvaging mantels, trim, left containers filling the yard with the homes historic interiors. Our efforts were to bring the home back to its original presence it once held in Belmont. Work was intense and grueling, but unfortunately the project was set aside by the original owners to be left incomplete.

This 1.5 month reface allowed the new owners to get in, under the gun we transformed the homes front facade with the addition of cedar shakes, sandblasted original fireplace showing its charm, new kitchen, fresh paint colors, hardwood refinish and brand new bath made it move in ready. Ready for further expansion because baby was due any day.
